ok, enlarged the painting diagram to scale and used it to make a stencil

going to go with 71 for the green and 02 for the grey as was suggested
 
Hey Gang,

Been busy with the airbrush!!

Some overspray i need to clean up and i need to add the green to the tail but otherwise its coming along ok.

oh, the cockpit canopy is just sitting there at the moment, may need a few minor tweaks before it gets put in place permanently, and yes for those who have already noted, I forgot to hit the canopy with 66 before i painted the camo colours..... oh well Its all a learning curve eh? lol

Very nice job! You can always paint the canopy frames inside - a bit awkward, but at least the most visible ones, the vertical frames, can be done with patience and a steady hand.

I've taken the plunge and clear coated my 109 with 'pledge one go', an Aussie equivalent to 'Future'.
I got it from the local Coles supermarket for $6 au for a 500ml bottle.

The result looks quite good.
