Hi, I have a Hobby Boss 1/48 A-6E Tram kit that I'd like to trade for either an -A or -E variant, as well as an Italieri 1/72 TRAM. My dad was with the A-6s, but was on the -As and -Es, not the TRAMS. Trying to build these for him.

G'day guys!

Doing a 1:72 Grumman TBF-1/1c Avenger run.

One kit will be a conversion of a Hasegawa TBM-3 to an engineless TBF-1 at Rukuhia.
If anyone has a Hassy TBF/TBM-1c but wants a TBM-3, let me know before I start cutting and we can swap fuselages!

I've got a Lone Star models 1/48 conversion for the AM TBM/F 3. If you wash it in hot water a hot dry it, it might shrink.

After some stash-checking recently I decided that I can trade some of my models. Here is my first offer:
I'm trading ANY of the B-25J 1:48 models below for a B-25H 1:48 - the oldest Monogram B-25 version.

Kit # 1 and kit #2 with the solid nose are identical, decals are the same. Both models molded in silver. One can't build the glazed-nose version out of the box (different clear parts). But the rest of the parts are identical with those in kit #3. Kit #2 the "Bonus Value Pack" is a pretty rare finding. Still have the brush and the paints (unusable though), don't know about the glue. Both models are from eBay and in "used condition" but unstarted - a few parts are off the trees, but all are accounted for. I put the decals and the clear parts in separate plastic bags to keep them undamaged.
Kit #3 is the latest Revell-US boxing. Brand new kit, all parts are still in unopened plastic bags. Model molded in grey. I bought this kit here in Canada - only the plastic wrapping is gone.
Kit #4 is one of the Revell-Germany latest boxings. New kit, all parts are still in unopened plastic bags. Model molded in tan. I bought this kit in Europe - no plastic wrappings there, only the sticker on one side of the box has been cut to check the parts and decals.
Kit #3 and kit #4 have 2 sets of transparent parts each. Revell was generous enough to double the parts, only because the nose panels are different (2- or 5-guns nose).
Note: Boxart of Kit #4 shows the real Jet Alpine Fighters B-25 with the revised Bendix carburetors, revised cowlings, revised tail guns position etc. The model is NOT as shown on this photo but is the standard B-25J as in kit#3.
Cheers!
P.S. In fact I need only the parts for the H-nose, not the whole kit. Monogram didn't make a correct H-variant (still 2 pilot seats, no cannon ammunition etc.), but is fine for J/J2.
So I can trade only the parts for the 8-gun nose (J2-variant) for the H-nose. This will save a lot of shipping costs.

Picked up a couple H models on evilbay at pretty reasonable prices. Shipping to Canada could be pricey though. Not sure I want to release any and I don't need another J. Let me think about it.

Evilbay shipping to Canada is a horror-movie! Some of the sellers even use the evilbay-calculator for additional fees and taxes (duties) and add 13% harmonized tax for Ontario. No way!
I checked one of the sellers, model costs less than 40$, shipping to USA 14$, to Canada 39$ + the above mentioned taxes. o_O

And this kit is actually the FIRST Monogram B-25, although not in 1/48. The last one of those kits bought, in the early 70's, came with four decal sheets, which I saved and issued to my guys in 1983 to put on their launch pad hardhats.

I have this one too. It's in the so called "box scale" (1' wingspan) or in this case in approx. 1:67.5. A guy managed to build a wonderful model out of this kit (check attachment).

And I saw where someone did a superb job of building a B-26K in SEA camo using the Monogram B-26 kit of similar vintage. Of course, Atlantis already brought out a reissue of eh old Revell 1/64 B-25B.

Just an update:
Yesterday I found a B-25H (Monogram) for 12$ on evilbay. Bidding was weak (4 bids only), I put 16.31$ down and probably would win (who knows?) Then I saw the shipping costs to Canada.
o_Oo_O:oops:
Combined it would cost me 50-60$=more than 70 CAD (depending on the winning bid). I cancelled 15 seconds before the end of the bidding. A lucky winner got it for 12.50$! But he's in the USA probably and with much lower shipping costs.
BTW, the Monogram B-25H is not a true H: it has the cannon nose and the cannon in the tunnel but that's all. The rest of the interior is for a J-model with 2 pilot-seats, no shells' rack etc.
I have the parts for the AM B-25G and intend to copy them and make a combined H from one of my Js.
3D-printing might help instead of molding and resin-casting. We'll see....

You need to get a P.O. Box in the us! Sneak across the border and pick up your mail.

I gave up with worldwide eBay searches now. I filter down to just Canada. Some postage is still high but I got a Tamiya 1:48 P-51B/C for under 40$CAN, free shipping. I took a single engine 1:48 kit up to the post office last month to get it weighed to figure out shipping costs. They asked, "Where do you want it to go?" I said, "The furthest country from me." Shipping would have be $39 and change so I'm curious as why I am paying double when I try to buy something from the rest of the world
