Coincidence! The diorama I have planned (for sometime in the future!) includes a tent, as shown in a couple of pics I have, and I was going to make it in the 'Battle of the Bulge' - especially if a GB for that comes up. I don't know of the kit you mention, but i could always do the Bronco 1/35th scale kit, with a Tamiya or Italeri Jeep and suitable figures, I suppose.

The picture right above it shows that it hangs outside of the opening at the lower end and I can show you plenty of pictures that show this.

It does at the lower end but is recessed at the top. Don't forget the oval opening below the prop cutout as well

Nice little dio, love the '42 Ford. I have thought about doing the exact same thing only military version. The Ford as a staff car and a General heading for an L-4.
