I reproduced the first prototype. So, no hikotai.
Flown by Kyushu Aircraft's test pilot Yoshitaka Miyaishi at the Mushiroda airfield on August 3, 6 and 9 in 1945.

If I may add, those stencil on the side and the three-color indication on the undercarriage cover would have been painted for ID and safety if the aiframe had not been destroyed on August 15 when war ended though this is my own understanding.
