I imagine how peaceful and enjoyable the flight training with a biplane would have been!

I'm not so sure about that, open cockpit flying is noisey and windy! (And sometimes cold!)

My daughter is in your lovely country now Shinpachi, arrived in Tokyo last Friday for some Concerts and been to Osaka, Kyoto, currently in Nagoya and heading back to Tokyo tomorrow (Wed.)
