Actually my wife made the photo's. This is the catalina that is based in Duxford, G-PBYA. It was the 3rd time it flew here over Dordrecht, flying from Russia and to Russia (according to their facebook page).

BTW great news: This week it became know that the Dutch Catalina PH-PBY has been tested and will by flight-worthy again this year after many years of restauration. So hopefully I'll be able to make more pictures of that kite, soon.

Okay, Canso for our nationalistic Canadians Never knew the difference. I thought a Canso was only a Catalina flying in Canadian service and as this one is based in Duxford, could be called Catalina now.

Excellent shots Marcel! Kudos to your wife! I wish I could say I've had luck with vintage aircraft, though I get the occasional Blackhawk or F-15 over my house.
