    No problem, thanks for posting it.. I just thought that her Service and Memory should be recognized. She did her job and , from what I read, did it well. Hats off to her..........

    Just a thought, the USA had the Wasps and the UK the ATA, did the Germans have a similar organisation?

    Glider, the Luftwaffe had an organization called the Helferinnen, which was a Lady's auxiliary like the U.S. and Britain that performed various duties except flying.

    While there were German female pilots like Hanna Reitsch Melita Stauffenberg, there weren't any uniformed female Luftwaffe pilots.
