I have to imagine that the Isreali's must have done something to ensure that ice buildup does not accumulate at the front of the saddle tanks (by the GAU cannon). Sure seems like that would be a constant problem.

Some nice stuff here Wayne and though somewhat late in the piece, I to have some mixed feelings about that Phantom, nice build but a bit over the tip with the weathering, it was to defined and too much of it, could have done with being blended more into the overall paintwork and with less emphasis on the riveting.

True enough Vic...

Next up Bf109E done as Prillers machine but one miain error wrong canopy...should be rounded type as his machine was an E-3

Is this the same machine of Priller's that Wojtek just finished? Anyway looks good, thank's for posting these Wayne, and keep em coming!

Yes same kit....much more to come yet...:D

Next up is an A6M2 Zero representing the markings of Lt. Fusata Iida from the IJN Carrier Soryu Pearl Harbour attack.
A bit of History for you....For the record Soryu and Hiryu aircraft at this time carried Dark Blue recognition markings rather than the Light Blue shown on this model....in March/April 1942 replacement Zeroes issued to Soryu then had the Light Blue markings as shown on the depicted model....

The final image shows a restored Zero with the dark blue markings of Hiryu Air group
