The overly large precip-static wicks ruined the F-16 for me. Since this is OOB category, not the modeler's fault. Do the judges count that against the modeler for choosing a poorly made kit or do they overlook such kit errors and only judge on skill. That would be hard to do, if the latter.

The kit itself is not judged based on any errors there may be with the kit, only what the modellers skills do to it in getting it on the table.
