Many thanks Wojtek and Andy, and your right Andy, a crowd pleaser or more to the point, an eye catcher.

Ahoy Vic
Congrats on the old Auntie The paint work is excellent and one of its kind compared to other splinter type camo. A Hardy Well Done .

YOU THE MAN

Boats

So Vic, now that you won. you'll need to turn that top cargo door around the right way so the camo lines match up at the hinge point. It's the only reason you did not get my very picky vote!

Ha Ha.

You certainly know how to make my heart flutter Andy, you had me rushing up to the hanger and dragging the model down from the shelf. Silly little stuff-up on my part but easily fixed. I would also never have noticed as the outside of the hatch door faces the wall.

As for winning the vote, with a stupid error like that I feel I should relinquish the win and have it passed Wayne! Seriously!

No way pal, you won it fair and square! It's a beauty and I should not want my critical eye take anything away from it. The effort you put into the lighting and interior parts makes this a well deserved win and worthy of being among the best models posted on this forum.

Sorry for pointing it out.

I never picked up on that!

Andy, you need to realize we build and post here to have these things pointed out to us. One reason is because we know these are not done in a vicious way and only meant to improve the build. But then of course I would be re-building to correct some of the faults on mine. But still is okay.

Well guys it's always hard for me to know when and how to point things out. If invited, I'll gladly do so but I generally don't volunteer my personal views unless there's something glaringly wrong and when I know who I'm talking to. Frankly, I didn't see the door thing until I went back to the finished build thread to chose my fave and it just happened to pop out.

Same boat here Andy... and IMO no need to feel bad - nor Vic for overlooking the detail (we all do that sometimes!)

I do point obvious things out myself now and again, but really hope no-one thinks I'm trying to be a smart @ss or clever clogs when I do. Certainly not the intention, especially as so many of you are far better modellers than I am!!!

Likewise I hope no-one will ever refrain from pointing out my mistakes with my art work or models - that kind of input is extremely important to me to make sure my work is of the highest standard possible, and I'm always extremely grateful for it!

A possible idea then for post GB feedback. If anyone wants their entry "critiqued" after the GB voting is done, just fire a PM or start a thread if you want it to be public. PM's are private, though pictures can't be included.

It's an idea Andy, and may not even need seperate threads, just one 'post build review' thread for the volunteered builds of that particular GB.
