If you paint the area the circle is going to go,so lets say on the bottom that is silver. Paint it silver,let that dry and then apply the red. No creep

prem895, what you are actually saying is that the alu ( no silver ) painted on first will kinda seal the gap between mask and object...sounds like a plan...!!

The "true"hinomaru color is with natural light, the orangy one with artificial light...

Was hoping I wasn't too late to post this but I read that the insignia didn't wear like the camouflage colors as the paint was a better quality. It still looks great though.

Well Geo, as you can see, the hinomaru is not faded like the camouflage, only the rivets are showing, the rest of the paint is intact.....
