Can somebody let me know when the start of the second half begins for the Eagles against the Broncos? I don't think they even showed up yesterday after halftime.

Glad to see the Niners pulled out a good game defensively and offensively last night. Even though it was a meaningless game vs. the Lions.

The only thing that disappointed me yesterday was the fact that that Cowginas fricken made the playoffs.

Vikings fans, get your forks ready cause they are almost done!!! Bears are handing it to the the Queens in the first half. Offense stinks, O-line terrible. Defensive secondary can't get the job done. Unless the D-Line can put pressure on the quarterback the vikes secondary doesn't have a chance.
Too many third down conversions being converted by the Bears.
About half way through the 2nd quater you could see the look of defeat and dis-belief in the faces on the Vikings sidelines. See if Childress can make adjustments in the half, but I don't think old Col. Klink has it in him.

The sound you hear Chris is the melodious tones of the worlds smallest violin...<grin>

They still may not be top three but nobody wants to play either them or the Packers in the playoffs.

PS - reaaly delighted that 49ers played well against Detroit - after all Detroit DiD beat the Redskins.

Buck..what the hell has happened to the vikings? Jared Allen looks worn out.....and that ain't good. I bet they go heavy after offensive line/corner back help this coming off season and draft.

Sorry man I can never say anything good about Dallas. Just the sound of them leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Not because of the team in general, but because of the shitty owner and the thugs that coached and played for the team in the 90s. That made me hate the team beyond comprehension.

Gonna be a very, very interesting Sunday coming up. Until last night. everyone though the Eagles were going to be on the road. But now, their future is in their own hands. If they beat the Cowboys on Sunday, they get a walk through the first game of the playoffs. It's the late game and everyone is going to be pumped. For all intents and purposes, it essentially is a playoff game.

Agree with Njaco on the Birds though, they did everything they could in the second half to lose it against the Broncos. Better not pull that in Dallas of they'll get trounced. On the other hand, once they get to Romo a few times, he gets rattle and his numbers tank. I think they'll take a penalty just to drop him. That dude can be rattled.

Vikings are toast, I really don't think they can beat any of the teams that will be in the playoffs. I'm a bit synical, but that comes from many years of watching the Vikings just collapse and blow it. Offense looked much improved in the second half, but went back to being anemic in the overtime. I think that had more to do with the Bears finailly figuring out what they were doing in the second half was bad and going back to what worked for them in the first half.
I saw that Peterson fumble coming, thought went through my head as he was struggling for that extra yardage, "I've seen this before, he's gonna loose the ball" and he did. He's beating himself up over it today and blaming himself for the loss. That was just the final nail in that games coffin, not scoring, or even coming close to scoring the entire first half of the game is what killed them.

The Eagles sometimes scare the 'ell out of me. Westbrook was a non-factor, Jackson was covered and the tackling was attrocious AGAIN! That is the one thing that burns me up, the poor tackling or illegal hits. The Samuel interception should have started at the 50 but, nooooo, we have to have 2 penalties to bring it to the 2 1/2 yard line!!!! McNabb is good but his weapons and teamates need to step it up.

What sucked was the missed extra point after the first TD. Had they made that , they would have won it in regulation. As for the Cowboys , can't go against them too much anymore since Romo came from EIU, only 10 miles from me.

Im really hoping the Saints can get out of this slump, and do well in the playoffs.

Injuries are mounting up unfortunately and I expect another loss against Carolina. Official word is that Brees is being rested in this game (Brunell gets the start) along with several other starters (Vilma, Sharper, Ellis, McCray, Shockey, Thomas and Shanle). Lance Moore, Pierre Thomas and Usama Young are all classified as being out of the game as well.

Good finish to the season for the Niners. Finished 8-8 after beating the Rams 27-6 tonight.

The 49ers really have a lot to look forward to next season. Should finally be there year to get back into the playoffs again.

In other news, Chris Johnson should break 2000 rushing yards tonight against Seattle. He only needs 128 rushing yards to reach 2000, and he already has 73 at halftime.

Nobody wants either the Cowboys or packers in the Playoffs but the Eagles are the only team that could beat either of them now. Vikings got their Mojo back so it will be very interesting

The Vikes kicked the S*** out of the Giants!!! The Giants are lucky that the score wasnt in the 50's or 60's.

A great way to end the regular season.

Giants were terrible, Queenies handed it them though and took advantage of thier poor play. I still think the Vikings will have troubles with a team that has a decent passing game and can put a sustained pass rush on Favre. They did do a good job of picking up blitzes yesterday though. Even Adrian Peterson did some decent pass rush blocking, which in the past has not been his strong point.
