I wonder who will win Jets or Colts?

I know the Colts are an offensive machine but, the defense......is well not the best.

The Jets on the other hand are a defensive machine and their offense needs to do something than run the ball or simple pass plays.

Even though when the Jets beat the Colts last time it was 2nd and 3rd string people for Colts.... .I still think it'll be a good game.

And also, maybe the Colts kicker will miss 3 field goals :evil4:

I am kind of torn. I really would like to see the Jets win. I think that Sanchez is a really good young QB and this would really be an amazing storybook year for him. At the same time though, I would love the Colts to go and hopefully play against the Vikings. I think that would be a great game Manning and Favre slinging the ball down the field.

Of course the key is to putting a lot of pressure on Manning. The Colts are a very beatable team.

True I just did a quick google on Jets vs Colts who will win... but the sites are all New York sites and for some reason seem to favor the Jets, I don't know why though

It would be a good game for the Colts v. Vikings.

I think though it'll be cool for a Rookie coach and QB in the first season to make it to the superbowl. (Rex and Sanchez)

A friend of mine met Sanchez eating dinner in a town not to far from my house. He said he was a pretty big guy in person.

Pluse the Rookie RB Shonn Greene has proved to be a a threat in the running game and then Jericho Cochtery (Spell?) is extremely athletic.

The Jets D is pretty good that is why. If they can put pressure on Manning and keep him from opening up the game, the Jets have a shot. If Manning is allowed to put a lot of points up early then the game is over.

Just my personal feeling here, But it think that the Colts are gonna run them over. Not even close. Their a pretty powerful bunch. As for my Saints....I truely believe they'll show up, it all depends on if Farve does. It will either be a close game or the Saints blow them away. Hope it's the latter...:D

The Saints are going to take them ;).The Dome,a full defense w/no injuries and the offense last week was the 13/0 team. The defense rattles Farve this w/e and he has been sacked 35+ times I think this year.

Think the Saints defense can handle the #2 offense? Think you can stop the likes of what the Vikes can throw at them? Favre has been in this situation four times in his career. He knows the pressure. Can the 'aints say that too?

You better hope it wont be a repeat from 1987 when the Vikes beat you 44-10

Couple of things about the Vikings/Saints.....

1) Vikes are 9-0 at home, only 4-4 on the road.

2) Favre is 13-10 all-time in the playoffs, 4-6 since 1998, and he has lost 7 out of his last 11 post season starts going back to the Packer loss to the Broncos in the Super Bowl.

But as I stated previously, if the Viking D plays like it did last week, they ain't losing.

My horse was out of the race months ago, so I do not really care as long as it is a good game. Nothing more boring to me than trying to watch a blowout with two teams I don't really care about.

That is exactly it. I think the Vikes have it for several reasons.

1. They have a better D.

2. The Offense is just as good, but not only do the Vikes have a great passing game they have one of the best running games as well.

3. Favre has the experience.

Vikes will win the game. (I hope...;))

just heard on the radio that the Sat night prior to Jets game 12 of the San Diego Chargers were out partying til 2.30 am at a strip club breaking the 11pm curfew they were all 1st string but names have not been released

If true then they got what they deserved, a loss and an exit from the playoffs!!!

Haven't seen this story anywhere (SI, FOX Sports, WFAN etc.).

Anyone else?

The local sports radio guys interviews a San Diego counterpart and it was his statement now I've checked San Diego sports radio and its a topic in their "twitter thing" I also found this blurb from a San Diego column
"Addressing widespread rumors that several San Diego Chargers players enjoyed the nightlife heading into the AFC West champions' playoff loss to the New York Jets, San Diego Union-Tribune beat writer Kevin Acee acknowledged that was essentially the case in a Q&A with fans.

"Some players were out, yes," Acee wrote in response to a question about the speculation. "You will notice I deleted the names you provided. Not all are correct, and I won't participate in falsehoods. And your days are wrong.

Went 2-2 straight, and 2-2 vs the spread last week in the divisional playoffs, so here goes nothing.....

Picking both road dogs to cover.

Vikings + 3.5

Saints 31, Vikings 28

If the game was in Minnesota I would be picking the Vikings to win. Vikings 9-0 at home, 4-4 on the road.

Jets + 8.5

Colts 24, Jets 20 (Sorry Harrison, hope I'm wrong!)

Jets have a chance if they can put pressure on Peyton. Manning, for all his greatness, is a .500 QB in the post season.

To that's EXACTLY what you have to do. Predict they won't win and then they will!

My dad is superstitious as we're having the same people over our house.....hahaha.

My dad said he is happy he converted to the green nation in the 80's
