I have fitted the cockpit and I have decided this is going to have a navigator sat behind and below the pilot. He only has two portholes and an astrodome to look out of but who cares about the crew. The small portholes mean I won't have to do much of a navigator office as you won't see it

Haven't decided on the paint scheme yet I was thinking PRU Blue but I might go with USN Sea blue or even black.

Cut one wing for retractable gear and built a box round the cut.

I used the cut out to mark the other wing

Made some good progress today. I am particularly pleased with the prop and the prop boss, the boss is of a Spitfire modded to fit the broad prop from the kit.

Ummmm no I suppose a hatch on the underside. I leave the details to my 1/72 scale design staff.

Just playing with paint colours at the moment. 50/50 mix of Vallejo Air 71.295 USN Sea blue and 71.090 Deep blue

I think it's a little dark for what I want maybe a spot of white or use a lighter colour than the USN Sea blue.
