Thanks all. Got a strange new visitor yesterday. A Magpie that was grey and silver grey where the normal Magpie is black. It was too twitchy to sit still long enough for a photo.

It's not easy to take a chance.

The other Magpies are very intolerant towards it. There are some odd light colored ones in Edmonton that they call 'Ghost Magpies' but the photos are quite different looking than the one here.

There seem such unusual Grey Magpies in Australia too.
Climate change affects them ? I have no idea.

Not seen any grey magpies here in Cowtown. They are all the usual black and white obnoxious variety.

Have had a pair of these around here 3 times this week. They should be way down south by now.
It snowed last night.
