Marcel, I used a Sigma, 150-500mm lens at 403mm, shutter priority at 1/250sec, f/6.3, ISO-100 . Post processing in Lightroom 5.

Here is another sunset shot from my back yard.

Nice stuff, Marv. I never used Lightroom, but they tell me it's the most professional software for raw. I myself use Darktable, an opensource alternative. I am wondering how it measures up against Lightroom.
 
Thanks guys I really appreciate your comments. We have the Point Mugu show coming up next week-end, hoping to make it.

Marcel, I'm not sure how Darktable compares to Lightroom, I have always used Adobe Photoshop so Lightroom was the obvious choice it flows easier for me.
