Sweet set of piccies Merv, nicely done.

Interesting to note the two '51's...one with prop cuffs and one without..sweet.

Here are some pictures of a Rabbit I took at my mothers place in Arizona, they were taken with a 150-500 Sigma DG with image stabilizer, the baby Humming Birds were taken with a Cannon 18-200 with IS. Coments more than welcome. The rabbit was taken through a very dirty front window so it was a little hazy.

I really like it so far, I used it last year at the Chino show and got some good shots. I still have a lot to learn on using it Of course I have a lot to learn about photography too.
 
The rabbit did have some pretty big ears for a little guy. There was a mother quail and 14 babies that were so small you could hardly see them, but they ran off before I could get my camera They were just outside the kitchen window. Thanks Eric, I used the 200 MM for that shot of the hummingbirds. They did not even seem scared when I took the picture, it was like they were posing.

I don't know what kind of car this is, maybe Aaron can let me know It was parked down the street from me, if you look close in one picture there is a bullet hole next to the cab.

Very cool Merv! I think the car started it's life as a Ford Model A. As to what year, your guess is as good as mine. It is now what they call a RAT ROD. The air scoop on top of the carb is very cool. It reminds me of the air intake on a ME-109. Excellent shots Merv. You never know what your going to see. Keep carrying the camera with you. I almost never leave the house without mine.
 
Thanks Aaron, I appreciate the information. When my wife and I were on our way to Vegas a few weeks ago we saw about 12 of these heading to LA. Must be some kind of show or something, a few had some radical paint jobs real sharp.

I thought the air scoop was cool too. They seem to be pretty popular around here 8)

I'll have to buy another camera to put in my truck, I have one I keep in my car, a cannon PowerShot 8.0 mega pixel A630, it zooms to 16x.

Did you notice the old pick up in the drive way?

Your welcome Merv. I wish I could afford another smaller camera but I just keep the Rebel with me just about all the time. And yes I did notice the old early 50's Chevy pickup. The scoop looks to be a headlamp bucket off of a 39' Chevy car. I may be wrong but I think that's what it is.
