Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers, it has helped greatly in making it through the Holidays, we lost my brother in law last Christmas which made things a little harder. We received a solar powered bird feeder for Christmas, we thought we would see if it worked and it looks pretty cool at night. I tried this shot just to see how it would come out, any suggestions to make it better 8)

That's not bad actually. But if you take a look at the settings in the photo information, you can use that as a starting point and begin playing with the setting. Go up or down with the shutter speed or the F-stop and see what you get. You can't hurt it. If you don't like it, delete it. I was doing that with the moon shots I was taking and getting some odd effects.

My Daughter and I went to the Chino Air Museum Saturday to see the Focke-Wulf 190 demonstration, the pilot is John Maloney, we also found a Bf-109 that was set for restoration, here are some shots of both, hope you enjoy.

Excellent shots Merv particularly the aerial ones. I was wondering though if the zinc chromate on the 109 restoration would have been applied by the Chino team or is it original. Interesting though I feel.

Neat stuff, Merv. The 190 is really something. It's a great addition to the collection at POF. I really look forward to seeing the 109! Maybe one day we will see a formation with the Zero, 190 and 109. Now THAT would be a cool shot!
