Thanks guys. I love my birds so here are some of my visitors. In the last two shots of the Hawk, does anyone know how I can make the sky blues or something. It was taken in the rain storm today, so kind of dreary.

Nice shots. I love to see the hawks.

You can try the color change brush to blue up the sky, but it's tough to make it look natural.

Lovely hyacinth shots Ontos, love the camellias too especially the bee shot, your spring must be on the way. Would love to have birds like that in my garden and have planted a garden to attract them, but we have to many pesky cats round here that use the garden as a thoroughfare.

The wife and I went to a quilt show today, took the trusty camera and snapped some old buildings on the way. I wont bore you with the quilt pictures, unless your interested in quilting, or the better half is.

Thanks Aaron , B-17 and Gnomey. We had a great time at the Quilt Show and ran into the old buildings on the way home. Aaron, I finally got to get out of the house, we hope soon to get out again and find some more old buildings, really enjoyed it. Thank you for the compliment Aaron, you are the king of Barns.

Went outside this morning and found a Hummingbird nest in one of my trees, could not resist taking some shots.

Thank you Shinpachi, I have been blessed with some wonderful things, my flowers and birds. I enjoy all that is here. I wish I could catch a picture of a Fox and Raccoon that hang around once in awhile.

Thank you Aaron, I was about ten feet away so I would not scare her. I was going to doctor the bird droppings out of the pictures, but I figured that was not natural.

Very cool! Catcing hummingbird nests is not an easy thing to do.

Thank you Eric, any tips are most appreciated. It was in shadows and I used a 150-500mm, Sigma lens, manual focus. Bad thing I did not have my glasses on Camera details: F/stop. 6.3, Focal Lengh 403 mm, Ex. 1/25, no flash.

You did a great job on the hummingbirds, especially with the adult...you just don't get to see that sort of subject everyday!

Ontos, and if I'm incorrect some one correct me please, your aperture setting of 1/25 would have made the shot a little easier at 1/60 or 1/80. Were you using a tri-pod, because if you weren't that's a great shot at that aperture setting.

Thanks for the info Aaron. It was hand held, I rested my arm on the side of my fireplace to get steady, I remembered what Eric said about stabilization. I would liked to have used a tripod, but the area was too muddy and damp.
