Went back to Ozark to work on the TG-14s the USAFA surplused a few years ago, had a great time with a great people. Last year I got to fly a newly acquired Loach that Dale County Sheriff's Dept. got surplus from the army. Well in the past year they really did a good job fixing it up. New engine and paint job.

We flew over to Dothan to get fuel. 1000' ceiling, we were zipping aling at 150 mph. I've never been big on flying helicopters but really like this one!

Check out the clip on the bottom!

Thanks Sheriff Tim!

Wow, that Loach looks like an ex-Army bird, complete with wire cutters! Did U guys see that 2 new 1/72 Loach kits (newer 5-blade rotor variants) just came out? If anybody wants one, I can get them from the manufacturer at about $18 apiece; previews already posted in modeling forum.
