Go back a page Dave and "Lil Margaret" has some color and "Boomerrang" has some now will post more in the following days once I get the L/G and canopies finished
Well "Boomerrang" is getting closer and the landing gear of "Lil Margaret" got assembled and a wash today. The Black stripes are decal black stock cut to fit I had "Boomerrang" done but the flaps started losing their paint as I was applying the wash because I did not apply a primer. So the decals came off and a primer and a recoat this evening.
"Lil Margaret" is up on her own legs now and engine is finally glued in."Boomerang" is getting ever closer and will be the first one to hit the finish line. The machine guns for the bay are almost little kits within themselves plan on having one on the wing like being replaced
Getting ever closer.I have applied the final clear on both planes at this point and on "Lil Margaret" the canopies are still not glued in nor is the antenna.I still have inner gear doors to attach to Lil Margaret as well as the exhaust stacks.I think it is visible enough in the pic the placard for the gun bay which for me if you open this up something needs to be on that door, anything.I also pick up another Tamy stang the other day to add to the Recce collection that will give me atleast four if not five if I do the Revell kit which has some terrible legs.Pics....
Oh by the way the next stang has yellow checkered nose with blue checkered tail
