A friend and I played a co-op consisting of eight P-40Es intercepting four Bettys and four Zeroes over the Kokoda Track. While the AI engaged the Zeroes we attacked the bombers. My friend got two Bettys and ran out of ammo. I got one and severely damaged a second before I ran out (my gunnery needs lots of work ).

Rather than flying back to base my friend decided to ditch, so I followed him into a fog-filled valley without saying anything. He didn't realize I was in formation with him until his plane spun around on landing...did he get a shock seeing me already on the ground heading almost straight for him

Our track prior to landing was almost exactly where his tail is pointing.

Pretty good formation ditching...too bad it was pure luck

Nice. Is that an entire Pearl Harbor mission you've set up? I've been working on one myself, but I may have to scale it back some. My old rig will likely have a tough time with all of the moving objects going at once, along with all of the ships and ground objects I've got placed around.
 
Nah NS, thats a Mission I downloaded off the net...

Heres a scenario I just got done with...

Flying my Hellcat loaded with rockets to a Japanese Carrier, with CAP up and alert....

4X Kills and 2 successful passes on the Rocket runs...

I tried to lob a few rockets onto the carrier, to no effect....
but you got smoked at the end, did you make it back?

Ummm, no.... Unfortunatly, my kite took major damage from the anti-aircraft fire, making me easy pickings for the CAP Zeros... I got chainsawed in half from my canopy back, caught on fire, then, when I bailed out, I got slapped with my propeller blades...
 
It's a crap shoot for me too, actually. The problem is you need to get pretty close to get them on target, and then you become meat for the gunners. I try to get 'em from slightly above, almost head-on at high speed. Sometimes it works and sometimes...it doesn't.
