Plus, two shots of some of my older 1/48 infantry/pilots. Not as good as what you can see in magazines, but I'm still pretty happy of the results.

Nice looking Spit and figures there Maestro.job well done Sir.kevin

Very nice Maestro. I'm not a Spit expert, so please excuse my ignorance here. Can you enlighten me on the slighly different tan/earth color just left of the starboard roundel? Is that modeling expediency or from a reference.

Nice kits.I like the figures.I didn't think anyone was still into them.
Ed

Ah ! And I thought it wouldn't be too obvious ! Looks like I was wrong... Again !

In fact it is supposed to be the same colour from the same manufacturer (Tamiya) but, as for their Olive drab, the colour from spray cans is never exactly the same than the "standard" (for use with brushes) paint.

The slightly lighter colour was made using one of Tamiya's spray can. The darker one was made because I somehow messed up the camo job in the area and it was easier to re-do the area with a good old brush than re-doing the whole plane. (Because it is a downside from using spray cans : it is good (and fast) for overall painting... not for doing details !)
