At the annual gathering of pirate captains, the youngest one walked into the hall sporting a wooden leg, a hook for a hand, and an eyepatch.
Everyone was surprised that a such young captain looked just like those much older ones.
When asked what had happened to his leg, he explained that a cannonball from an English galleon had shattered it, making amputation necessary.
- And what about your hand? ... the curious crowd asked.
- Well, a French sniper shot me in the wrist. The gangrene set in and it had to be cut off.
- And what happened to your eye? ... someone asked.
- A seagull pooped on my eye.
- Oh so it burned it out .. someone shouted.
- Well, no ... the young captain replied ... I just wasn't very skilled at using the hook yet.
