Not so much a recent purchase, but the replacement for the missing windscreen for my Tornado has arrived from Airfix, along with the rest of the clear sprue, after three months! I have to say though, I was impressed with the packaging; a sturdy box, much larger than the parts, with sort of 'air bags' as internal padding. Probably cost more than the parts!!

I ordered this kit today, should receive it sometime next week. It will be my entry for D-Day GB. I was going for the Academy 1/72 Typhoon originally, but as it came to be they sold out all of Typhoon kits in my hobby shop so I went with my second choice...

No big deal. For me it's a toss up between "Old Crow" (Already in stash) or a C-47 which I would have to buy. I was leaning to the Crow because I have resolved not to buy any more kits... for a while...

Well Guys you know me I like prop jobs and have got a couple of jets from the 50's in the mix.Bbbuuutttt I was at Hobbylobby tonight and saw an F16c by Tamiya 30% off of $19.99 what I know is normally a $60+ kit in 1/48 and for $14 and some change needless to say she found a new home Cheers Kevin
