The first of my "Century Series" jets came today. They're older kits with fine raised panel lines but look really nice. I hadn't realized what monsters these things are in 1/48th scale. I'll need a wider shelf to display them on! I'm going to use the F-102 in the "Unofficial" Delta GB along with the top scheme on the Super Scale decal sheet and will be starting it soon although it's going to be a fairly long term project.

nice Glenn, am thinking of a thud for a bit of a republic line up with P-47's and my A-10
It does look like a nice kit, but HUGE! The fuselage looks as big as a B-25 of the same scale.

Just found out today from an old Air Enthusiast that Turkey flew the F-102! (Or was it the 106?) Who knew?
They were used by both Turkey and Greece, Turkey actually using then in the invasion of Cyprus against Greece. Although They didn't meet any of their Greek counterparts in battle there were reports they mixed it up with Greek F-5s with no side reporting losses and both sides claiming 2 kills each.

Nice buys there Glenn, didn't know the F-102 kit was still around.
Wasn't real easy to find at a reasonable price, but I was persistent and finely found one for $25. The F-106 kit is much more available. I have one due in the mail tomorrow which I will also be building in the Delta build.

That 'Thud' is a mighty cool looking a/c....so is the Delta Dagger btw, but I like the Thud better

Some nice buys. here is what i picked up in thelast couple days.
