Let's see, I could use the Dremel to gouge out the seat and give it more shape. Make a new back cushion out of my Crayola putty. Add some PE seat belts.

Slice the stuff off the cockpit side panels, add some sheet to the backs of the little ones. File the sides back on the big pieces to make them a little more 3D and glue them back.

The instrument panel, new sheet punched holes... hmmmmm
 

No Bill, no this kit is like meant to go on a diet of Dremel, by the time you ended up sanding everything you'd have enough plastic left to make another kit I'm down to the point on the build where the resin itself that attaches into the kit is almost see through and the model itself is nearly 0.00001 mm (I exaggerate! ) The Panel itself doesn't line up with the resin parts so I'll need to graft a new one Now I am getting the itch to finish this kit! Bah hehehe

When built out of the box with minor additions (hand made Tamiya tape seat belts, ohh so VIP hehe) it comes out pretty nice

1. Remove shrink wrap.
2. Cut tape, holding lid attached to bottom.
3. Lift lid.
4. Think to oneself...*aaaah....plastic...parts....decals...*
5. Lift plastic bags with aforementioned plastic parts out of box.
6. Cut aforementioned plastic bags, with previously mentioned plastic parts.
7. Remove.....never mind...I need a beer!

Psss!.........aaaaah....Furstenberg!

Btw, you're not building them in the box??
 
Building a kit into a model, out of the box, is, for some, as difficult as Jan walking past a pub!
And can we please lose some of the 'smileys'? Some posts look like a bad case of chicken pox!

I've built the 109K and wile it's not Tamiya it's a nice fitting together kit. I have three or four other HC 109s in the stash and they all look to be the same quality.

Me! I build OOB all the time…… at least I use to before I fell in with you lot
 
I just type them Terry. A : with a - followed by a ) gives you the sneaky grin , a : and capital D gives you the smiley . The cool guy is made with an 8 and a ) Found that by mistake typing ( 1:48 ) and not leaving a space before the bracket! 8)

We should probably do a thread explaining all this cr@p and what the abbreviations mean, like you said a while back.
