Glad you eventually got the parts Geo.
I had a similar thing with a Mirage kit I bought, where the decals were missing, and supposed to be sent on 'later'. That was over a year ago, and still no decals !
Not that bothered, as I'll be using an aftermarket set anyway, but rather annoying.

It's a resin model. The Silver Wing is a Polish firm.

Ies, all parts are resin plus a pe fret wit some details.
A dry fit shows that fuselage halves and wing fit quite well and there will be just a minimum need for putty.

My B-29 arrived, but it is NOT the original issue. See photos below. The instruction sheet inside was Copyright 2015. It does have the A-bombs and turret plugs for a Silverplate B-29. I include a pic with the box of my current build on top to give an idea of scale, this is one big box!!

Who is that on the box Wojtek? A famous cosmonaut?

Yep.. that's Sigmund Jähn, a military pilot and the first cosmonaut of the former GDR. He is considered to be the first German in the Universe. The decal sheet that comes with the kit , includes markings for his MiG-21F-13.
