Beautiful work Matt! I love that rigging - what's your technique?

(And "Amen" Venganza - you are the voice of the people, or atleast the modelling population! :))

Thanks mate, I try! I think I saw on Oprah a very touching show on "Modellers Who Can't Finish Models". I may be mistaken on this.

Easy buddy. Easy. You post another Oprah quote on my thread and I'll give you a few days at the beach.

Okay, dispite Venganza and his insults to a family man with higher priorities, here is my final submittal. I still intend to put Future in the lower fuselage windows to make them more "window like", but this will close out my thread. Her future will now be on my 9yo's dresser for a few months. And then she will become a ceiling queen.

Great work Matt! Actually, the "Modellers Who Can't Finish Models" referred to me, not you. Speaking of which, I know have an unfinished Walrus somewhere...

Venganza

Superb Matt, superb! And, for such an old lit, relatively basic by today's standards, you've done a really gret job. It's inspired me to do a small diorama of one in 1/48th, on the water, rescuing an downed airman in a dinghy....

You've got me going now Matt! I think I'll order the old SMER 1/48th scale kit, and have a bash at the 'sea' diorama. It'll have to wait a bit though, what with the Group Build and Diorama guide etc, but it can be part of the latter, so I can justify it to myself!
BTW, how is Aaron's modelling doing?

Thanks guys. Just need to break out the Future for the fuselage windows and then put on my HF aerials. You can see the holes have been drilled in the leading edge of the upper wing and the top of the vertical stab. Then she's done.

Next up is a MUCH simpler old 1962 Revell 1/72nd A6M5. Building this just as a break. Need something very basic for my sanity.
