Thanks everyone for your wonderfull and most appreciated replies to my Ventura Bomber... As to the update build report With everything all glued down the model was given 2 coats of Gray Primer and let dry.. Next I applied 3 good coats of reefer White semi gloss on the uindersides of the ventura... After i sprayed down the White I am setting the model at a side overnite for thye pai9nt to cure and dry, then I will resume tomorrow with the final paint schedule. A wonderfull kit indeed it is Revell is getting better with their kits not much nit picking from my side the plane is being built staraight from the box with no after market photo etch sets as to my knowledge there are noe available as of yet... While the ship is drying I am starting another build I will post it right after this build report is concluded. Here are the update pictures for this evening tomorrow I will post the completed paint schedule.

I agree, it's looking great. I really hope Revell release the RAF version soon - it's a nice looking kit, which I'd really like to add to my 2 Group line-up.

Down hill slide on the Ventura Bomber As of the Build report of the day I should have her done this evening and tomorrow I will post the finishing shot.. As to the paint schedule I mix my own paints useing Fedral standard paint chips after all of the white has dried and cured I mixed up a batch of intermediate blue white black and blue with a touch of green for the hue, then I mixed up a batch of non specular blue by mixing dark blue black and green colors match up perfectly with the cost of model paints I mix my own with pint cans and quart cans i can mix as much paint i need without a fuss. As of now letting the Ventura dry and then i will do some touch up here and there add a touch of wash for weathering and finall the decals and she is good to go A great kit.. I am with Terry I would love to see Revell release the RAF bird what a dynamic dual the Ventura and the Ventura 11 a great pair. Here are the pictures judge for yourself about the paint mix.

My nose is growing on getting her done last night, There is alot more work I most certainly will have her done tonite.. As to the build report for now I have finished up on alot of touch up painting here and there to get her up to snuff next will be washes and weathering and finally the clear parts and tyres.. As for the decals the hair puller of the decals is the octapus decal one must have patience to apply the decal, you have to work with it by adding alot of water to shift it around until it is formed as it suppose to be.. that was the only hardest part of the kit I didn,t know this but there is after market photo etch and resin parts for this kit I guess the after market folks are one step ahead of Revell when they released this kit to the modeling world.. Stay tune everyone the Ventura bomber will be finished tonite and tomorrow I will post the finished pictures and I will turn too on the B-52 and get her started.

Even though I will do the RCAF version when I find the model, the octopus decal looks awesome Boats. Methinks I might have to buy two kits.
