ok so messing with my Nikon D70s, thought i would try out the macro setting on the Sigma 70-300 lens, ans also just a couple of none macro pics at the end.

Nikon cameras are really sturdy and can be enjoyed brand new condition for decades.
I still love a Fuji Finepix S3 pro. As you may know, its body is a digitized Nikon F80 like the Kodak DCS Pro SLRn.
I also have a genuine F80 for the future repair of S3
