A few years back testors released a model of the Mi-28 that was pretty much provisional and taken right from released DOD satelite photos. Dml offered a better version after the helicopter was showed by the Soviets at the Paris Air Show. I thought building both and comparing them would be neat. Both are to 1/72 scale. It is surprising to note the differences AND the similarities. Intel may just be a little more effective than I had thought. Something that really struck me was the aircraft number, "32" on the provisional bird and "032" on the real one. Could the Soviets have a sense of humor ? The first five photos are of the testors model, the second five are the DML version and the last two are them together. Enjoy.
