Yes Wayne it's true.In September 1939 many Polish pilots were shot down by The Polish air defence and simply by Polish soldiers when doing their duties.I think that it occured very often and not during the Polish campaign only.But on every battle fields of WW2.
 
Ok busy few days at work... now 2 weeks off modelling time here I come...but for now another Expo pic..

The He 111 looks very nice.Although the 1:72 scale it appeared that it had been possible to make a good model with a nice painting.

Cool pis of the very nice diorama Wayne. It looks to me like Bf 109F from JG27,doesn't it? What scale?
 
Ah yes, Wayne.Sorry for that,sometimes I'm not able to see small details without my glasses.Unfortunatelly,it has occured often recently.

Oh boy,oh boy a very nice model of Fw190A5 Werk Nr. 2594 flown by Mjr. Hermann Graf - Gruppenkommandeur Jagderganzungsgruppe Ost, France - summer of 1943.
 
Unteroffizer Matthaus Erhardt's Fw190A8/R8 from 5./JG300 in 1944. An excellent work Wayne.Do you remember the name of a manufacturer of the kit?
 
hey Wurger, it is the 1/48 Tamiya A8/R8 which comes from the original modified F-8 boxing.

And another Wurger for Wurger....this one is 1/48 but not sure which brand, will have to check....

The model looks to me like Fw 190A8 from 13/JG54.
