Well if they make it too difficult for the machines, not many people will buy the thing, will they? It'll be managable for the current higher end computers.

I would have liked say Battle of France. No spits, only Hurricanes and Gladiators for the RAF. Hurricanes and CR42 for Belgium. Germany with 109D's and early E's with 4 x LMG and the 110 as a real force in air to air combat. Dutch Fokker D21 and D23 plus the French aircraft MS406, De 520 and Bloch 152 with their heavy cannon but very limited ammunition, all pitched against each other.
Bombers that we only saw at night flying missions during the day Wellingtons, Hampdens plus Blenhiems.

I second this. The France campaign would have been particularely interesting. Or maybe the norwegian campaign? Sinking the CL Karlsruhe with Blackburn Skua dive bombers might have been a real thrill....

Note that the BoB is just the first installment for Storm of War.

PC based in the past, like all the IL2 games of the last several years or so. Don't think they ever went beyond that.

Probably not. Little early in the war for them. But it would be kinda cool to fly the BOB program in a P40C or B.
