All in all, last year at this show was my first in this country. In the States I had been to small ones and some so big they were overwhelming. You had to choose a category and it would take hours to look at them all. So many dealers your head would spin.
This one will be a really good one next year with a few more dealers. This venue has room for only a couple with plane kits and accessories. Some armor and a few books. A couple of clubs reps and a few really old kits in their beat up boxes.
I am not a judge, don't profess to have the eye for it, but I thought the quality of the entries last year made me attend this year. And by the length of time it took for the judging, there were many quality entries. Only a few "intermediate" entries with seams showing, or more experience with finishes needed. It didn't appear to be age groups represented. Which in itself is a shame, cuz it's these builders who will fill the tables in the future. I'm looking forward to next year.
We got to come up with a way of getting together at these shows....... Silly hats maybe????
