Top work on the model so far

Thanks for posting that. Also noticed that the cushion behind the pilot's head is much larger and darker colored than the museum's. All information that the museum should have had.

Also of interest. the decals sheets that are available show two black bands on the fuselage, the first covering part of the back of the canopy. All photos show that the canopy was NMF entirely so the museum did not put the front band on their airplane.

But........once again I point out that I am making a model of the museum's aircraft NOT a historically accurate version. This is why I normally DON'T build P-51s or 109s or Spits, no matter how well you research them someone always points out something you did wrong.
