Guys good evening, some time after my last post here i am again. Still working on cockpit, a lot of work to be done with this one. I used white ensign's Grey -green for the cockpit color, which in my opinion is the best when it comes for british interiors. But also i am amazed by the quality and the general behavior of those colors, well done white ensign. Small details came to life using Citadel acrylics, some of the best colors to use with a brush.

Apart from these photos of the reconstructed spitfire i also have the photoes from the original pilot's manual which mainly i have as a guide. Anyway what i have accomblished so far, you can see it at the following photoes, there are still alot to be done, this is a model that you dont have to hurry. I have to underline that the small decals are from Barracuda studios, sent together with the resign details i bought from Roy, and the placards are dry transfers from Archer.

Beautiful work John. Is that the kit seat or an Ultracast one? Nice job on the leather. I assume you'll be adding an oxygen hose as well.

Some beautiful work there John.Who is providing the stencils?the lightbulbs look like LIGHTBULBS!! really nice. But the stencils seem to always add that finishing touch for sure.Cheers Kevin

Thanks guys, Crimea the seat as well as the door and some other cockpit details, inclunding the appropriate decals for the job come from here BarracudaStudios. These things are masterpieces!! Yes i am going to add the oxygen hose but i will do it during the cockpit assemply, i have a lot of work ahead!!!!
As for the stencils and placards Kevin, i used some from the Eduards cockpit PE set as well as the Archer dry transfers ARCHER AR35210S, they are 1/35 but they do the job.
Guys i am enjoying very much this built, the only negative thing is that my free time, due to work, family (3 kids you see and a working wife...), is little so thats why my updates take so long.
Anyway it is a hobby and i enjoy it.

John

Beautiful detail work John! Looks every bit like the real thing.
