nope !

the usual, order too much food to show off a bit to your friends and family.

i originally produced a more formal 3 course menu for him ( the hotel group owner ) but he wanted a show off buffet.

he has a few hotels to choose from but came to us because he knew the General Manager and I would be able to give him the wow he wanted, though this can be a compliment and a curse as now he will always come to us !

Anniversary Dinner with the Pre-wife. I cooked Beef Rib steaks that were from a local farm - grass fed with no anti-biotics - cooked following Chef Ramsey's 2 Minute Steak protocol, homemade Red Lobster Cheddar Cheese biscuits and baked Yellow Russet potatoes with butter and sour cream. Then off to the local Ice Cream stand for dessert!

...and today we made 10 lbs of chili!

That's a whole lot of Chili. I don't think I've ever made Chili the same way more that once. Usually just throw in a little of this, a little of that, and hope it's good. Only failed once, when the cap of the black pepper container came off and dumped the whole container into the mix. Tried to scoop most of it out, but it was still plenty peppery.

Well, not as schmick as all above,
I for the First time, cooked a steak
worth eating. A New York just under an inch thick. Shoulda been thicker! 130°C 15 min, 10 next time, in my air fryer. Then a min anna bit each side onna blistering hot griller for the char. Was not pink, but not leather!!!

Next one will be a bit thicker!!!!
Sad, 81 finally cook a good steak away from a BBQ.

Ever since I saw this video, this is how I cook my steak. With very slight variations, this comes out perfect every time. So quick and easy. No rubs, no multiple spices, no Danos - just butter, salt, pepper and garlic. The best.

Ok, maybe I'm not understanding. What are you looking for, doing that, other than a pulse?
