Neat Wayne! That dusty appearance is what I was getting with my first use of acrylics; I thought it was wrong, but now that I've seen yours, I guess it's normal, and disappears once clear coated?

Terry, I apply the paint in a mottle and gradually build it up so it has the uneven appearance or 'dusty' as you call it.
The next colour will be applied the same way, on Saturday!
Thanks Wayne. I guess I just need more experience, and pracrtce, with acrylics! Those bits that I left untouched, on the underside of the 'Gustav', looked O.K. when gloss-coated.
Some more pics showing the RLM 74 added now.....haven't been able to do much over the past week...bee a bit on the busy side.
The first 2 shots were taken inside during the painting phase, while the others were out in the sun a few days later...
Is this camo sufficient Erich? do I need to alter anything?
