User titles? (1 Viewer)

[Pong]

Hi folks.

I've noticed that several other forums (WW2Talk for example) has the option of user titles in their User CP. I was wondering whether the forums can have this feature.

Sorry if this is a stupid suggestion, but I just noticed it.

It is possible but is only available to mods...

I think its cool that only the Mods get it, but if we all were able to get it, I say only alow one change a year.

If a member does something that stands out (to warrant a nickname or something) we Mods will occasionally give them a user title. This is how I have seen it done on many forums, and I kind of like it that way.

It's like the mod's did with Sunny91. Since he posts the majority of the video's on this site, the gave him the name "Video Extraordinaire"

You can generally get an idea about a person by thier posts and how they interact with other members. To me, that speaks louder then a title anytime.

I agree Dave

...and Pauls 'Archive', right?

[GrauGeist]

Yep

Group hug!

[Njaco]

hey, whose hand was that?

I think that is what makes this place better than the others - no reputation sytem, username titles for Mods. Its all good for me.

[Lucky13]

That's only because you have yours!

Well, looking at Lucky's avatar, I see the tart - but where's the pop?
