Thanks to one and all for looking in.
We are almost at the end of this trip. From Paris we took the Eurostar to London and started the business end of the trip by visiting family, friends and a couple more of the fine fellows of this forum. I'm not going to be so crass as to hit you with my family but I did manage to pick up a few shots of the English country life.
While in Yorkshire we stayed a fabulous Bed and Breakfast (B&B). Each morning our breakfast was served in a lovely sunny room while guinea fowl, pheasants, sheep and cows kept us company.
We also spent time wandering the lovely Yorkshire moors where they were burning off some of the heather to create grass growth for sheep.
BTW, that hill leading up to the lime kilns is in the old measurements, a 1 in 3½ft and believe me even in today's modern cars, it's a 1st gear climb.

Not this time Terry on account that the RAF seems to have bu$$er all left to fly. Though was once picnicking at Braham Rocks with Tornadoes clipping the grass down below and almost lost the roof off my car to a Jag at Sutton Bank.

Know what you mean Vic - they only fly for 15 minutes once every 2 weeks, when the three aircraft are shared between the four squadrons !!

To round off this marathon holiday and for all you fans of the TV series "Heart Beat' here are a few shots of the relics used in the series including the garage that was used and the hub of the village, the pub. Called Aidensfield in the series, it was in fact the Yorkshire village of Gothland.
Also as I was finishing up in my hanger today, this was the sunset from the room window.
And to finish this leg of my photo records, I could not pass without once again showing this picture of Karl, Terry and myself when we met up for the day.
Within the next few days I'll start a little package from a visit to the Botanical Gardens in Singapore.
