Many thanks for dropping by folks and for your appreciative comments.

So rounding off the visit to the fort with just a couple more shots, we were then taken to a place call 'Reversing Falls' where the water actually looks to be going backwards up hill. Quite amazing. There was a bit of a threat with the weather.

Thanks for popping in folks.

Our next and last port of call in Canada was to be a night stop at St Andrews but because of some significant delays in a refurbishment program (several months) instead of staying here as scheduled-

we were billeted here-

Next morning we headed for the USA and a couple of hours stop in Salem but also managed to squeeze another short stop in Freeport and a scout through LL Bean's store

Here are a few pics from Salem including a couple of the memorial stones to those poor people deemed to be witches.

The Reversing Falls in Saint John actually do that - reverse, although "falls" could more accurately be described as "rapids". The Kennebecasis River empties into the Bay of Fundy at Saint John and at low tide the flow appears as in Vic's excellent pictures. At high tide, the flow actually reverses and salt water flows back up into the river basin. The reverse flow does create some rapids over the same river bed but not as pronounced as during the flow out.

Great shots Vic. Nice to see some sights that are familiar to me, having lived in the area for close to 6 years in the 2000's. The Inn at St. Andrews hosted some nice brunches for my family on several occasions. A beautiful area.

Once again folks, thanks for calling in and as said, time to move on from Canada with a quick hop to Nashville and needless to say, visits to the RCA recording studio.

First up a little stroll down one of the main streets wher a bit of busking was going on, just like home in Tamworth.
