Now, when pressing certain keys, it churns out reams of Welsh !!
I had a digital display toaster/convection oven. Never liked it much because setting it up for use was like defusing an UXB
("No! No! Too slow! You only have 5 sec to enter the cooking time!).
Then one day it flipped over to displaying in Klingon or some other inhuman language. It's out the the garage.

Then there was a copy machine at work that had a secret Origami setting.....

The discussions with his flatmates and friends have been pretty telling re his motivations. I won't post it here for obvious reasons but if you search on it, you will see.

To me he sounds like a person who conceived a long term plan to get close to some of his intended targets and learn of their patterns while collecting the "tooling" (like the "police' car) he required for his planned attack.

If he had not been surprised at the scene of his second attack I expect he would have got more, maybe far more, victims given his disguise.

I also think he had his escape planned in great detail and will be hard to catch.

I find the FBI reward for information to be totally inadequate given his crimes which makes his escape far more likely to be successful. In most countries killing a politician is considered by governments the most heinous of crimes yet the reward is less than for Luigi Mangione when he (reputedly) murdered an insurance leach.

Really?

Why do some people always feel the need to inject their brand of partisan politics, as if their side is some kind of righteous entity.

Keep it off our forums.

Imagine what they are like here in Aus with floods killing close to a million cattle plus a similar number of sheep and destroying thousands of market gardens. Add to that a bird flu means chickens are destroyed and a bee disease means thousands of hives destroyed.

The two main causes of increased costs in the US are both from government policy so essentially self inflicted.

EDIT - one of today's headlines

That bee disease has only been in Australia for a short time and the current method of trying to control it is to burn any infected hives.

Going by the way it is spreading I would have to class this control method as a total waste of time.
