My wife has been teaching here in Oz for 30 years, K-3, you've got nothing on her.
Bilingual, to No-lingual. If it's not the kids, it's the parents. Everyone has to win and
never learn that Someone has to lose. From first place to last they all get the same award.
Is it any wonder they get pissed of when they finally lose and get No award!!!!
A teachers mantra "Wine proves God wants to help teachers cope"!
Not trying to compete.

Kids will always be kids, no matter where you are, and there's not many that 'want' to be in school...

Even Albert Einstein is supposed to have said 'Anyone who ever had any sense never liked school' :)

Congrats to you and the missus Alder. We're at 41 plus we dated for 5 years, starting in Grade 11. First day I saw her I knew it was meant to be
That's a long time! Hope to see century anniversary!

My brothers grand daughter had been diagnosed with an unusual medical condition called ITP which is where the anti bodies in the body attack the platelets in the blood resulting in something like an extreme case of haemophilia.
The good news is that she has responded to the treatment very quickly and and there are good signs that she will make a full recovery quite quickly.

We know how much of a near miss she has had, as my wife has ITP and is allergic to the main treatments. As a result we have to go to the Hospital twice a week and will do so more or less for ever.

Trust me, this is very good news for the little one.
