You know it's bad when Waffle House has had to add an Egg Surcharge....they only go thru about 272 million eggs a year..Not sure if I should be posting this in the "What cheered me up or What Annoyed me" thread.
Been looking for new Venison recipes and found one that looked good, chicken fried venison with garlic smashed potatoes and gravy. Looks tasty, but recipe calls for 3 eggs, now where in the heck am I gonna get three eggs and also find a part time job to help pay for them... Donations anyone?

As a state employee I may not be allowed to accept the grant money. They don't want a purchasing agent to take a $999.00 gift from a 591c that helps vets that are disabled. Since I only purchase items for people that want to keep their job, how does helping someone exercise look like a pay off. Got to love govt rules. No if it was $250k , no one would care.I am a long time martial arts instructor. I just got notification that my grant was approved to cover the cost of training to work as a personal trainer for veterans with disabilities. It has been on my to do list since 9/11. Not having a national certification has been a major road block for working with the VA. With 35 years experience, I needed to pay for a piece of paper showing I know Tai chi. BS on that, get verification by a group that been around a couple of years. So I will get trained by a veteran owned group that trains people to work with all types of disabilities. Program is not sport specific. Maybe I can help veterans with chronic model buying syndrome.

Sounds amazing!!Rushed into my butcher just before closing to get some of his wonderful smoked bacon and he had some freshly wood smoked, chemical free, chicken drumsticks.
I got four to sample but they smelt so good that none of them survived the trip home.
Now I have to wait for Monday to get more.
Yeah heard their going chapter 11Jo Ann's is an arts and crafts chain my wife buys yarn from. They are going out of business. They carry model kits out are overpriced. We stopped buy Saturday. She bought Over 120 dollars of her favorite yarn. She tried to get me to buy a model but they are not marked down yet. Another B25, and PBY, B24, and Jenny may be in my future.
