You know it's bad when Waffle House has had to add an Egg Surcharge....they only go thru about 272 million eggs a year..

As a state employee I may not be allowed to accept the grant money. They don't want a purchasing agent to take a $999.00 gift from a 591c that helps vets that are disabled. Since I only purchase items for people that want to keep their job, how does helping someone exercise look like a pay off. Got to love govt rules. No if it was $250k , no one would care.

Yeah, I've worked in government, the mind wobbles at some of what goes on, well, basically ALL of what goes on.

Walking up towards a supermarket, I passed a mother and her approx. 3yo boy who was following her a few metres behind. He was eating some kind a chocolate bar. As he drew close to me he held up up to show me with a cheeky chocolate grin.

He was absolutely as happy as could be and wanted to share his mood.

It worked.

Had Valentines for the children at our elementary school. I had them write Valentines for their parents and some of the results were quite surprising. One of the moms bought me a Reebok coat and it fits! One of them wrote a very touching letter. She make me too skinny and I haven't had hair like like since I was in my early 40s

Sounds amazing!!

Jo Ann's is a arts and crafts chain my wife buys yarn from. They are going out of business. They carry model kits out are overpriced. We stopped buy Saturday. She bought Over 120 dollars of her favorite yarn. She tried to get me to buy a model but they are not marked down yet. Another B25, and PBY, B24, and Jenny may be in my future.

Here's something to how small the world is. You have undoubtably heard of a person by the name of Keith Kellogg going on Trump's behalf to negotiate with Ukraine. Would it be of any interest to anyone that I use to work for Keith Kellogg back in 1989 while he commanded 3rd Brigade, 7th Inf. Division. This was around the time of Operation Just Cause.

Funny isn't it?
