What part of the North Sea Coast? I spent quite a bit of time in the Cuxhaven area in the early 1990's. Enjoyed it.

Up near Jever and Wilhelmshaven, Laboe (Going to visit the U-Boot Memorial too)

1. Last work day of 2024 year complete. I love that my company shuts down for the holidays.

2. Booked our flights to Germany next summer. Besides visiting our family, we will spend some time up on the North Sea area of Germany, as well as in Nürnberg And Berchtesgaden. Plus we will take some trips into France and to Salzburg, Austria. Kids are excited.

I used to live just 30 minutes from there for like 10 years. Would go there all the time. We'll be visiting some friends of ours from back then.

Okay, pitty.

Since Delta stopped flying to Stuttgart the prices skyrocketed. I was looking forward to seeing sole of the Dutch WW2 sites with you.

Coordinated today with the local Commemorative Air Force squadron here to use their hangar for the presentation on WW2 I will be doing for my wife's class in March. Not only will I be putting on a presentation focusing on the causes of WW2 and able to see up close authentic uniforms and artifacts from WW2, but the kids will also get to see up close a B-25 and a TBM Avenger.

On top of it, it looks like I am going to become a member and volunteer my time to the museum. I am sure between being a hobby historian, a pilot (yes I know they will not let me fly the planes), and a licensed A&P mechanic I can dedicate some quality time to them.
