I've attached the landing gear, gear doors and Rolls Royce Olympus 593's to the body of the concorde just after I finished sanding it down. maybe after I'm done doing a little yard work, I'll apply primer to it. I'm kinda happy that I don't have to mask anything off lol

Sounds great mate! One of these..... S31 – Supermarine Spitfire PR Mk XIX

That's the one 8) I now realise that the Airfix instructions are wrong in some details, mainly colur of the undercarriage legs and wheel centres, but as the kit id built and the varnish on it's a bit late to change them now #-o Shame they didn't distinguish between detail painting for the S31 and the RAF PR XIX versions of the model :(

BT, those SA Bulldogs went for a lot less than that. If you were on the approved buyers list for the MoD anyway. A mate got one for a little under £3,000 !!! A year later, Harriers and Jaguars were up for sale at between £5,000 and £7,500 !!

I paid mre than three grand for my car! If I'd only known, the car park at work is more than big enough for a Bulldog

Anyhoo, many people do not realise that a very few Fulmars, in keeping with naval tradition, were built with sailcloth awnings instead of canopies...

My Airfix Fulmar, complete with crude but effective masking, receives it's undercoat. Hopefully I'll get a good start on painting tomorrow.

Concorde has recieved er first coat of primer! I was lucky that i had enough of it for her.

I have cleared the floor and started the 1/72 Gato Sub.I read some had issues with gaps on the hull but mine was just about as snug as they come.No filler was required on the keel at all but I may build it back up from sanding with some evergreen strips here and there. The sub will go above the work desk, the wall is about 72" and the sub is 52" it fills it easily.I am excited like a little boy first time in a while :) Cheers

a 767!? what scale?

1/144 in KLM colours. It's a big beastie, had it (and the paints) for a couple of years now. I bought it because it was only 10 quid ($15) but knew as soon as I opened the box that I was not ready for it! So it's being saved until I'm a bit more competent...

Pictured with the a 1/72 scale Defiant (same size as a Spitfire) for a sense of scale...

EDIT: Not sure why the pics came out like that, as I rotated them in Photobucket to be 'right-way up'. Will see if I can fix it...

Constellation and DC-4 are two of my all time favourites. I prefer propliners and early jets, especially British stuff like the Tudor, Hermes, Viscount, 1-11 and VC-10, but models are quite hard to come by. I have seen a range of vacform kits by a company called Welsh Models, but they're fairlly dear (by my standards), and I haven't a clue about vacform kits or what building them entails...

omfg i want that so bad!!!!! O_O seriously, i want that :D
