Here a couple of pics with front parts of engine cowlings. These were very characteristic for B-24s. The first step was to remove the cardboard from areas where there were holes ( pic2). Then I put all pieces together (pic3).The finished part doesn't look good , am I right? These white areas at the bottom of the assembled part are caused by corrections I have had to make to the length of each strip. That's why the next step was to soak the part with Superglue , then sanding and painting of the whole part (pic4). In the last shot you can compare effects. Looking much better isn't it?

I've cut out all of them myself. Pre-pounching can be encountered very seldom. To be honest I haven't seen that done to a such parts so far.
