beautiful progress, guys!

I'm still waiting on my 707 cockpit part, so I'm working on the VC-121E and I've also been working on the Curtiss Jenny.

That's Chrome Silver on the connie

I'm currently working on a Fiat CR 42 CN night fighter. :) I will post some pix when I can. I'm currently trying to master the use of my camera with a large magnifying glass. My camera doesn't do close ups well. :(

Thank you Pal...:D

Here a couple of pics with front parts of engine cowlings. These were very characteristic for B-24s. The first step was to remove the cardboard from areas where there were holes ( pic2). Then I put all pieces together (pic3).The finished part doesn't look good , am I right? These white areas at the bottom of the assembled part are caused by corrections I have had to make to the length of each strip. That's why the next step was to soak the part with Superglue , then sanding and painting of the whole part (pic4). In the last shot you can compare effects. Looking much better isn't it?

Do you have to cut out all the pieces yourself or do they come pre punched?

I've cut out all of them myself. Pre-pounching can be encountered very seldom. To be honest I haven't seen that done to a such parts so far.

THX...:)

Because there aren't drop containers for the B-24 coming with the card set I have decided to scratch build them. A few pics of the initial work.

To continue....

Then I have added a few details. For example a shovel and the parachute pack. For the pack I used a part of wrapping of pills for healing of my liver. Now I have to get an idea on how to make the precussion head.
