Cheers Wayne took your advise and used patience to finish this airfix monster lots of filling and lots of sanding .BB

Great job on the parachute Wojtek - you could use the same material for the percussion base, with the holes drilled into it maybe.
Very impressive Concord BB, nice work mate.

Didn't realise you were posting work in this tread Wojetk, nicely done on a great subject with interesting material.

BB that Concorde looks fantastic, it looks huge, what scale is it.

Thank you Terry. I thought about the way for making of the "bumper". But the shape of the precussion head was a little bit different. Anyway still wihout any ideas on that.

Today I was working on the b-24 wheels. Firstly I have sanded them in order to get a shape of a tyre ( pic1 and 2, one of them has already been sanded the second one hasn't been shaped yet.) Secondly I've soaked them with a varnish and Superglue and sanded again. In the third shot you can see them all sanded and been ready to paint.

Then I have sprayed them with a black acrylic paint for restoration of car bodies. I like the paint. It gives a nice black matt or semi-gloss tonality of the rubber of tyres.
