What a man what a life

Reading the obituary it ocurred to me how many of the greatest Aces werent the best pilots. Bob Doe barely got his wings and probably in a peacetime airforce wouldnt have made the grade but he turned out to be a great fighter pilot and a great leader of men.

Always liked Bob Doe. Saw a bunch of interviews with him and read a bit of what was written about him. Was not shy about saying what he was and wasn't. Neat interview too. Sad to see he is gone but he left a pretty good legacy.
